Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
   This competition is organised by The William Cecil

2. Eligibility
   The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Entrants must be subscribed to our marketing emails at the time of entry.  If the competition is shared with someone who is not currently subscribed to our marketing emails and they choose to enter, by submitting their details they agree to be added to our marketing mailing list. They may unsubscribe at any time. All personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Employees of Woodford and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter
   Entry is via submission of your name and email address through the competition form on our website above. Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

4. Entry Period
   The competition opens on 16/02/26 and closes at 5pm on 10/03/26. Entries received after this time will not be counted.

5. The Prize
   The prize is a two-night Burghley Break at The William Cecil for 2 - 2-night bed & breakfast in a cosy or medium room, 2-course set menu dinner included on first night (£26pp) only, 2 tickets to Burghley House & Gardens. Please note, Burghley House & Gardens is closed on Fridays. Please check the Burghley website for any additional closures that may occur throughout the year. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary. Prize is available Sunday-Friday, subject to room availability, and to be redeemable before the house closes for winter October 2026. Room upgrades may be available on request.

6. Winner Selection and Notification
   The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the closing date. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided within 5 days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 5 days, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity
   The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition, including use of their first name and general location on our website and social media.

8. Marketing and Data Protection
   This competition is open to individuals who are subscribed to receive marketing communications from us. The name and email address submitted via the competition entry form will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition, including contacting the winner. This data will not be used for any additional marketing purposes and will be securely deleted following completion of the competition. If the competition is entered by someone with an email address not currently subscribed to our marketing emails and they choose to enter, by submitting their details they agree to be added to our marketing mailing list. They may unsubscribe at any time. All personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering The Master Builder's Exbury Break Break competition you agree to opt in to New Forest marketing emails and can unsubscribe at any time.

9. General
   We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without prior notice where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Our decision in relation to the competition is final.
